The Virtual Club

What is the Club?

The Virtual Club at NEIA is based on the nonprofit organization Virtual Activism. The organization works to bring technology to other nonprofits around the world, with particular emphasis on the Middle East.

Recently, Virtual Activism received a grant  from the Ford Foundation. They had been supporting Virtual Activism since 2002. This particular grant included, among others, a grant for working with NEIA students to create a virtual hub that would include technology-related tutorials and Flash games. The timeline for the project is one year, but  projects will be published immediately on the hub following its translation into Arabic and French.

This Club is considered a paid internship for the select students at NEIA. Members are selected based on their overall skills as well as their GPA.
